Designed to guide participants towards implementation of the concept of ‘social safeguards’ to address those social issues during the planning, designing, coordinating, managing and implementing infrastructure projects; raise awareness on social safeguard policies, best practices and operational guidelines globally practiced; and take the opportunity of working groups to strengthen links between staff of project authorities at various levels of administration.
