Description

The course focuses on current practices in corporate financial reporting and fundamental issues related to asset valuation and income determination. At the end of the program, participants will be able to: (1) Recognize important financial accounting topics and how to report them in financial statements, (2) Properly account for assets, liabilities, equities, revenues and expenses, (3) Prepare financial statements with the required notes and disclosures in periodic financial reports, (4) Recognize the need for transparency in reporting of financial statements and management reports, (5) Determine the structure, presentation and disclosure of financial statements and annual reports, and (6) Interpret and report statements of income and financial affairs.
